Call 111 - When it is less urgent than 999

Please be kind to our NHS teams.

Unfortunately staff working within various departments at NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin have been subjected to various kinds of abuse in recent weeks.

During the last two years staff have been on the receiving end of increasing frustration from patients and we want to be very clear – abuse is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

Small acts of kindness, such as a ‘thank you’, can make a positive impact on someone’s day, and help staff feel valued about the difference they are making to people’s lives.

Please remember our NHS services rely on the sheer hard work and dedication of our amazing teams.

Please be kind to them.

Coronavirus testing is now available to people with symptoms that are aged over 65; must travel for work or have a clinical referral from 111. These tests are only available to book via the Government website (either visiting a regional test centre or ordering a home testing kit) the web address is http://www.gov.uk/coronavirus and there is an option on that page "Testing for Coronavirus".
