Dr Staite Retiring and New GP’s
After 22 years of dedicated service at Wellington Road Surgery, we are sad to announce that Dr. Staite retires today. Dr. Staite has been a highly valued member of our team, respected by colleagues and deeply appreciated by patients for his kindness, professionalism, and commitment to outstanding care. While we will greatly miss Dr. Staite, we wish him all the best for a well-earned retirement.
We are pleased to share that Dr. Martin will officially be joining us as a salaried GP from 2nd April. Dr. Martin will be available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and will take on half of Dr. Staite’s patients to help ensure continuity of care.
Additionally, we are delighted to welcome Dr. Day, who will be joining our practice on 6th May. Dr. Day will be working on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and will take on the other half of Dr. Staite’s patient list.
We are very excited about these new additions to our team and are confident that Dr. Martin and Dr. Day will provide excellent care to our patients. We appreciate your patience during this transition and hope you will join us in giving both doctors a warm welcome.
We will let patients know who they have been switched to by sending them a text message. For more information on what an allocated GP is, read here: https://www.wellingtonroadsurgery.co.uk/…/named…/
Thank you for your continued support.
